The Barn at High Point Farms: Wedding Venue Highlight

For over 10 years, the 70-acre Barn at High Point Farms has been creating a rustic, yet natural setting for Chattanooga brides. The history goes back even further though, for this family farm and family-owned and run business. The property has been a part of the owner’s family for over 70 years, and that shows in every aspect of the weddings and families they host!

VENUE

The Barn at High Point Farms has a stunning grove encircled by tall trees and a large pecan tree at the center of it all which makes for a ceremony location that is lush and tranquil. The owners love the way the pecan tree symbolizes strength, vitality, and longevity and I love to capture that same essence in your photographs!

If you want the peaceful grove for photos but prefer to get married indoors, The Barn at High Point Farms offers a beautiful and authentic barn for an indoor ceremony and also serves as a gorgeous backdrop for your reception.

The Barn at High Point Farms is also a working family farm, so it’s more than just a name. Gardens and flower beds sprawl the land and the CUTEST white greenhouse with a chandelier is a must for photographs! If a treehouse is more your style, The Barn at High Point Farms also has a farmhouse inspired, boho-decorated treehouse that is romantic as ever. It can also double as a getaway and a start to your honeymoon with a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom, only accessible by spiral staircase.

And if after all of these photo ops, you’re still dying for sunset photos (me too!!! Who wouldn’t be?), I’ve never seen a better venue for them! With The Barn at High Point Farms sitting in the shadow of Lookout Mountain, the views as the sun goes down are breathtaking. I can just see your “just married” photos with the mountains and greenery behind you now!

GETTING READY

Okay, I can keep going! There’s even more that this incredible venue has to offer! The Farmhouse bridal suite is Pre-Civil War! It has a kitchen area with private bedrooms and a bathroom. There are a few more overnight accommodation options too if you’re looking to stay on-site after your wedding. The guys aren’t forgotten either as The Barn at High Point Farms offers the boys Mimi’s Guest House.
