Engagement Session on Lookout Mountain | Chattanooga Wedding Photographer

Online dating works, folks! Michelle & Vinny met on Bumble and are the first ARP couple to have met online. Vinny was juuusssst about done with the app when Michelle swiped for him. God’s timing is so good! After a month or so of talking online, they decided to meet and pretty much the rest was history!

Michelle & Vinny’s first date was trivia night at one of their favorite restaurants. Actually, they both had gone there separately with their friends before. So, it’s a wonder if they’ve unknowingly been around each other previously! I can see again God playing into the timing of them meeting. How cool!

It’s been some time since that meeting, and it’s more than obvious how much their love has grown. Vinny knew Michelle was pretty stinkin’ special and popped the question around Christmas 2020. It made me giggle when Vinny shared that he made sure the ring box was not a traditional shape so that he wouldn’t give himself away to Michelle before the proposal. Smart man, smart man! 🙂

Once they started wedding planning, I was blessed enough to be referred by Michelle’s sister for Michelle & Vinny’s wedding photography. We’re super stoked about getting to photograph another out-of-town wedding, and this time in Asheville, North Carolina! It’s God’s country out there. We can’t wait!

I was blessed again that Michelle & Vinny were willing to come to ME for their engagement session from the Asheville area! They even took off work to make it happen! How special is that?!

If you know them, you probably aren’t surprised when I share that they weren’t the only ones smiling during their engagement session on Lookout Mountain. Their personalities and dynamic had me in stitches!!! I seriously had to up my shutter speed to compensate for my movement from cracking up! It felt like hanging out with old friends, and they trusted me implicitly to do whatever I needed to in order to get gorgeous images. What a combo! 🙂 Keep scrolling through their previews and tell me if you think I nailed it! 🙂

Michelle & Vinny – I feel like the luckiest photographer alive. You made sacrifices you didn’t have to. You were troopers when I asked you to do crazy, or sometimes terrifying, things (sorry again, Vinny!). You’re love brought me joy and was a great refresher coming out of a week of dealing with taxes and other mundane tasks. I sure hope you love these previews of our time together. Can’t wait to see you again soon! Much love!
