Natalie & Devin

So much life has happened for Natalie & Devin since their engagement session earlier this year. Natalie graduated school and landed a job in Pennsylvania, which meant even longer, long-distance dating for the two. So, they decided to get legally married with a private ceremony several months ago! Woohoo!!!

On August 1st, they held their official, public wedding day at Hidden Springs Venue. We were so blessed to be a part of it! As anticipated, the venue was gorgeous and provided the perfect set-up for their visions.

Hidden Springs Venue’s waterfront the most relaxing wedding ceremony background. The sun set perfectly behind them through the low-hanging branches, making for dreamy images. Natalie’s father officiated the ceremony. His stories of both Natalie & Devin’s childhoods were HILARIOUS. His insight into what makes a healthy, God-fearing marriage was so poignant. In fact, he cited one of my favorite quotes of all-time—what if God created marriage to make us more holy than make us happy? Such an important thought and point to never forget. We even appreciated the reminder being seven years into our marriage!

The reception inside the barn at Hidden Springs Venue was fun spot to enjoy the delicious Asian cuisine. I mean, who usually has curries at a wedding reception?! WE LOVED IT! Natalie & Devin spent lots of time mingling with guests, as relationships are so sacred to them. Many of the guests had travelled from great distances to be with them on this day!

I totally get why their loved ones would be willing to travel so far to celebrate Natalie & Devin. They’re a couple the exemplifies self-sacrificial, enduring love. Like the kind of love God has for us. That’s what makes me so excited to see what life Natalie & Devin build together and how God uses them to impact the lives of others. It’ll be such a beautiful continuance of the story that started so long ago one night at Vespers. 🙂

We love you, Natalie & Devin! Enjoy these previews of your Big Day! Thanks for letting us be a part of it! <3

P.S. – I left the wedding with a new addition our home…a kitten we named Luca. He crashed Natalie & Devin’s wedding and has been the best thing ever! More about that story soon!
