If every wedding at the Ruby Cora had a bridal party like Rebekah & Shawn’s, we’d beg to be the photographers for it! I’ve shared before how a bridal party can make or break a wedding day timeline. This crew actually helped hold it all together! One of the bridesmaids was the wedding coordinator even! If the halls weren’t echoing with belly laughs, they were filled with focused groomsmen helping decorate, running errands, or assisting however they could, even one groomsman helped me package up my equipment!
Even better, we got to witness the merging of two beautiful souls. I got to know Rebekah & Shawn quite a bit during their engagement session. I learned that their hearts were basically made of pure gold, and that they have a rare kind of love for others. It’s no wonder why their bridal party and friends were so special too! With their souls combined, the impact they can have on the world can be extraordinary. They already reignited a playful side of Jimmy and I that parenthood tired out. I cannnnooootttt wait to see how their new lives together unfold!
And what better place for Rebekah & Shawn to kick off a new life together than The Ruby Cora?! It’s nestled on a family-owned, century farm about 45 minutes outside of Nashville. The rolling hills and the trees with low-hanging branches were such a beautiful complement to the modern with a touch of rustic indoor space. The venue layout effortlessly encouraged mingling and quality time spent together. It was also situated perfectly to enjoy the spectacular sunset (keep scrolling to see their sunset portraits!!!). As a photographer, I was LOVING the white walls and all the natural light that came in from the windows.
Gah, I could go on, but I need to stop myself! Rebekah & Shawn, I hope the day was perfect for you!
