I’ve started getting some questions about my favorite household appliance, tools, and products since I started sharing some about my yearly household cleaning and maintenance routine on Instagram. So, I’ll be sharing those with you every now and again!
It only made sense to start off by sharing my favorite household appliance—the Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum. This has been my BFF well before Beckett was born. Since I’ve been dog mom of two large mutts, I needed a way to vacuum up their tumbleweeds of fur daily. I justified purchasing this vacuum shortly after finding out that we were pregnant with Beckett. Lugging a heavy, corded-vacuum around the house and into the garage to clean our car is too laborious for any pregnant woman, right? I also knew that with Beckett on the way, many messy days were in my future. Makes sense right? 🙂
This baby is mounted just outside of my garage door near the kitchen. It’s no big deal to grab it and vacuum something up really quickly. In fact, it’s such a breeze to use that I vacuum my entire main living spaces every day! (It sounds ridiculous, but with two dogs and a toddler, it’s justified. I promise!) I probably whip this baby out at least 10x/day to clean up Beckett’s messes.
Here are other reasons why I love this thing:
- Super lightweight! Beckett was able to push it around at 15-months-old!
- Phenomenal suction on all floor types! I have very plush carpet and lots of hardwood.
- Variety of tools to make vacuuming out my car, crevices, and stairs a piece of cake.
- Adequate battery power
- Easy to clean and maintain
- Reliable warranty and customer service. We had to replace the battery once and we received an entire new motor less than a week later.
This isn’t meant to be a thorough review, but rather a quick share about an appliance that works for me so that you can do your own research and see if it’d work for you too.
