Ceremony Sites
The Barn at Hickory Hills has a spot fit for every type of bride! There are four ceremony site options to choose from all within a stone’s throw of the reception site.
They’re all pretty whimsical, but the Enchanted Forest site is named perfectly as it truly is enchanted. Barn doors welcome you to the aisle which is anchored by wooden benches. The tree top cover makes the outdoor space feel intimate as you walk the aisle. You’re met at the end by not only your groom but a beautiful arbor perfect for stunning floral arrangements.
The open-air chapel is also unique! It is charming and surrounded by beautiful forestry. The white chairs for guests sit on either side of the aisle as you approach the chapel. Add decorative elements like floating windows to bring even more charm to this ceremony site!
The fireplace pavilion is the perfect site for a fall wedding. The stone surrounding fireplace is strong and I think illustrates and sets the tone for a sturdy marital foundation which The Barn at Hickory Hills is all about! The seating surrounding the area can host 150 of your closest friends and family to celebrate your commitment.
The last ceremony site is perfect for the boho bride. The bohemian garden is ready for endless altered rugs down the aisle, and a hexagonal arbor adorned with pampas grass. It is a boho bride’s dream!
The Party
All of the ceremony sites are perfectly situated near the Main Hall. The Main Hall is outfitted with barn tables and chairs, gorgeous wooden barn doors, and bistro lights. We all know how much I love twinkling bistro lights! They give so much life and dimension to your evening wedding photos!
There is a porch and patio nearby which are perfect for cocktail hours or even dance floors. The space seamlessly transitions from indoors to outdoors. However you desire to layout your wedding celebration, the family at The Barn at Hickory Hills will help you bring your vision to life!
One of the most unique things I’ve seen in a venue is at the barn! Dubbed their ‘Finishing Touches’ room, The Barn at Hickory Hills has a room where you can choose decorative items for your wedding. It is like a wedding candy store and it is incredible! I love the unique finishing touches too because they make a big difference in your detail shots!
Wedding Weekend
The Barn at Hickory Hills has on-site lodging for you and your bridesmaids and groomsmen. I think my most relaxed brides are those who have stayed at their wedding venue the night before. There is no rushing, just relaxation.
Each area for both bride and groom is outfitted with getting-ready spaces. For the women, salon-style seating and lighting are in the space so your hair and makeup team have a place to set up. There’s also a kitchen area making the overnight stay even more accommodating!

Besides the venue itself, the family that owns and runs The Barn at Hickory Hills is committed to making your weekend memorable and the start of your new adventure an exciting experience.
