Macall Nabors & Jacob Wirz celebrated their union with a modern wedding theme at the Common House No. 3 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This power couple deserved an impressive wedding day, and that’s just what they got!
From what I’ve been told, this was Common House No. 3’s second-largest event EVER. The ceremony in the garden had the longest aisle we’ve ever seen. Somehow Macall kept an unwavering smile as she gracefully walked down it to Jacob. Afterward, Ruby Hall felt like we were playing a game of sardines! Macall & Jacob had planned the perfect layout and design to accommodate their large guest count, but also allow plenty of room for the live band, dance moves, and fun! We love how they added height to the room with the string lights and towering cherry blossom stems!
If you know this couple, you know how much of a power couple they are. Macall is a dentist with strong skills for planning, executing, and minding the details. Jacob served in the Navy, deployed on three tours, received several military honors and accolades, was top 1% of his Naval Academy class, had dual degrees with a minor in Chinese, got into Yale AND Harvard, and is now studying law. (Crossing my fingers that I remembered this all correctly!) How they planned a DESTINATION wedding with such demanding careers is beyond me! Major props to them and the team! You all did an excellent job!
Macall & Jacob opted to get creative and have some nontraditional aspects to their wedding day. First, did you notice the bridesmaids’ dresses in these previews? Each bridesmaid could choose her own dress. We think the mix-and-match looks beautiful! Macall also wore a nontraditional wedding dress, and it was hands down perfect for her style. It was so elegant! Then we get to when they chose to do family formals—before the ceremony! Though this is not unheard of, it’s not common either!
It’s genius to do this before the ceremony for a lot of reasons…it’s easier to wrangle the family members, they’re less likely to get pulled by other guests wanting to visit with them, and the couple can focus on just celebrating after their ceremony instead of doing one of the most stressful parts of a wedding day just after the big, exciting I Do’s!
We think these previews speak for themselves about how much elegancy, class, and beauty their day beheld. It even ended with the classiness of leaving in Jacob’s pristine Defender, which he had imported from Spain! It truly felt like a dream day.
Macall, Jacob, and loved ones – we hope that these previews brought you back to the love, beauty, and fun this day exuded. Your families are so beautiful and so deserving of such a special celebration! Thank you for trusting us to serve you. It’s been an honor!
