The Chattanooga area is truly just so great when it comes to wedding and event venues. You have endless outdoor spaces, uniquely modern and vintage barns, and you also have the city which brings many urban and industrial venue options to the wedding stage. Waterhouse Pavilion at Miller Plaza is 100% in the last camp – an urban venue in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga. While a city venue may make you think big and uninviting, Waterhouse Pavilion is anything but that. I’m blown away by how intimate this venue is – perfect for a wedding.
The Aesthetics
First of all, the floor-to-ceiling windows on nearly every wall, I’m in love! The natural light these paned windows let in makes for perfect photos even on gloomy days. If the windows didn’t get me though, the bistro lights that are hung from the rafters sure do! I never thought about bistro lights inside, but they bring such charm to the space giving a warm ambiance that carries well into the evening of your wedding. Speaking of a warm ambiance, I absolutely can’t get over the heated floors at this venue. They definitely bring a cozy touch during the winter wedding months. Of all the venues I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph at, no others have had heated floors!
A Team Eager to Help
For your ceremony or reception indoors, the interior of the venue has a variety of layout options. The accommodating team at Waterhouse Pavilion is so eager to assist with your layout! How do you transition to an indoor reception from the lovely adjoining Miller Plaza if you opted for an outdoor ceremony? The team covers all of that in their planning with you! They also offer resources to point you in the right direction for fully renting out Miller Plaza, since it belongs to the City of Chattanooga. If you need ideas, A list of caterers who have been hosts to events at the pavilion is available. Waterhouse Pavilion is also happy to welcome your top caterer choice! They also provide your caterer with access to a prep kitchen.
Other Bonuses
Also inside Waterhouse Pavilion are two getting-ready suites for you and your bridesmaids. There is also a space for the guys. You can be on-site for a full day to experience all that Waterhouse Pavilion and the downtown square have to offer.
Being downtown, nearby accommodations aren’t hard to find either which is perfect for out-of-town guests looking to explore downtown Chattanooga. What’s more – Waterhouse Pavilion has even formed relationships with many of the nearby hotels to bring you and your guests discounted rates.
While I usually go on and on about the aesthetics of the venue and trust me, Waterhouse Pavilion is a looker. I think my favorite aspect of this venue is how favorably couples talk about the team! With reviews raving about the availability and helpfulness of the staff, this is a team you definitely want behind you helping plan your wedding day!
