Bree & Jonathan Lowery’s Anniversary Session in the Cherokee National Forest | Chattanooga Wedding Photographer
Am I getting old? Bree’s my childhood friend’s younger sister. In my mind, she should still be playing on a middle school’s playground, not celebrating her second wedding anniversary!!! It was so wild for me to have gotten the chance to celebrate this season of their lives with them with an anniversary session in the Cherokee National Forest!
We had been planning this session since the end of June, but it didn’t happen until August despite our most earnest efforts—the city-wide shutdown of non-essential businesses, coronavirus exposure, illness, and weather. I was getting so frustrated at the universe! We finally made it happen though!
Bree & Jonathan took me up on my suggestion to photograph at this GORGEOUS location. I was nervous that my directions and texts would fail to go through while I was out in the woods, but they had no issues! In fact, while we were shooting, they casually mentioned they’ve hiked there a couple times before! Score! It was meant to be! 🙂
We only had a brief period of time together, but I feel like these few previews show their personalities well! I feel like I could have told them to do a cartwheel, and they would’ve trusted me that it was the most photogenic thing to do. Like, how do I get so blessed to work with clients who trust me so much?!
Happy second anniversary, Bree & Jonathan! You two are so fun! I hope these bring you some extra joy when you celebrate your anniversary in September! I’m sure you’ll be doing something cool. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re back out in the Cherokee National Forest doing your thang! 🙂
