I adored this mommy & me session in Apison TN! I first met Sara & Abby during my pregnancy when I was trying to meet other local, first-time mommies. I started a “PJ Date” group with a few mommies I already knew. We met once a month in our pjs, with unwashed hair and teeth, and messy buns. The kiddos played together while we sipped on coffee, munched donuts, and vented about ups, downs, and hilarity of mommyhood. It really is the kind of get togethers! Those same mommies have been like a unconditional sisterhood for me since Beckett’s been born, AKA the only way I’ve survived! 🙂
If my “mommy brain” serves me right, Abby was around 5-months-old and Sara was just starting her business, Cute Baby Things Co. when we started our PJ Dates. Since then, Abby has somehow become 18-months-old, and Cute Baby Things Co. has taken off! Sara now sells her “pretty, but practical” baby gear at our local markets and even in a local boutique! Seriously, it’s the cutest stuff. How Sara finds time for it? I don’t know! So proud of this mompreneur!!!
Sara photographs her own stock photography for Cute Baby Things Co. Her style speaks to my photographer heart. I feel so honored to have been given complete creative freedom by another light-loving photographer. The pressure was on, and I hope I’ve done well. 🙂 P.S. Sara’s also an amazing writer and dedicated 4th grade teacher. I’m so blessed to know such a gifted mommy.
