Bridgewater Place: Knoxville Wedding Venue

Kaitlin & Chris’ spring wedding at the Sacred Heart Cathedral and a New Orleans style reception at the Bridgewater Place was one for the books! Planning a destination wedding is NO easy task, but they pulled it off! It was a perfect way to celebrate two people who have been in each other’s lives since the 5th grade (cue my melting heart!).

The grandeur of the cathedral made for a breathtaking, full mass ceremony! It’s rare that the inside of a church is this picturesque! It’s even rarer that I actually photograph portraits inside, but look at how EPIC their portraits are! Not to mention the towering columns out front. I literally could photograph for hours at this building alone, especially with such a good-looking, connected couple as Kaitlin & Chris! Holy moly!

After Kaitlin & Chris’ ceremony, the reception followed at Bridgewater Place, another Knoxville wedding venue. Kaitlin & Chris weren’t the only ones ready to party in this versatile, open space. It didn’t take long at all for the dance floor to be filled. The kids seemed to especially take advantage of it with their “break dancing” and hip moves. The pictures of it kept me giggling as I edited the gallery. What would it be like to be that carefree and unaware again?! Ha! I’m betting they were inspired by Kaitlin & Chris’ fun personalities! 😉

It’s so obvious to me that Kaitlin & Chris’ future is going to be filled with adventure. I’m so excited about that! Kaitlin is nurturing and so easy to talk with. I noticed that from our first conversation. Between that and Chris’ kind-heartedness, and you have a recipe for a couple who works hard to understand each other…a foundation every marriage should strive to have!
