I travel far and wide to photograph all sizes and types of weddings and I love getting to pop over to Knoxville on occasion to photograph rehearsal dinners and wedding days. One of the largest venues to choose from in Knoxville is Bridgewater Place. The venue which boasts over 33,000 sq feet of venue space has countless options to choose for your wedding day. Bridgewater Place has nine venues in one location and there’s something for every wedding size, style and budget!
VENUE SELECTION
Bridgewater Place has nine event spaces to choose from and a handful of them are small and intimate for around 15-20 guests. More and more over the last few years, brides have been opting for micro-weddings or elopements. It has been so sweet getting to photograph small intimate events and if you are a micro-wedding bride, I think Bridgewater Place could be your venue!
I especially love The Library. The room features an ornate tin ceiling and a wall of book lined library shelves. The space seats 16 guests and is a cozy corridor for a micro-wedding reception celebration!
The Terrace is incredible too. Bridgewater Place has an outdoor wedding event space that has a marble tile floor and an outdoor fireplace that is gorgeous – perfect for those summer and fall evening Tennessee weddings! The stone surround and stunning stone chimney makes for the perfect place to feature floral arrangements. It is both rustic and elegant. The entire ambiance given off by the fireplace and bistro lights is what wedding exit photo dreams are made of! It’s SO pretty.
Aside from weddings, you could really host all of your pre-wedding festivities across the variety of venues at Bridgewater Place. I often stay with my couples all weekend for rehearsal dinner photos, the wedding day, and the post wedding day brunch. You could choose a separate venue for each of these events on your wedding weekend, and still have not seen all of Bridgewater Place!

So, Bridgewater Place kind of has it all! With so many venue spaces to select from and all the details that go into the day, it’s great when venues offer brides everything in one. For Bridgewater Place this includes catering and their on-site executive chef, lighting and AV, a DJ, and event coordination! The team is always so eager to give your venue space life through lighting and decor and they help coordinate through each step of the planning process!
FOOD
That quick break me and my team takes during dinner service to eat is fun because I get to sample the foods that you and your spouse have chosen – it’s always SO good. I think you’ll love how tasty and also gorgeous the food is at Bridgewater Place. The venue has their own Executive Chef, dishing up great wedding dishes. There are endless food selections and customization options to serve in any one of their venue spaces that you choose!
