Nothing is more Tennessee than whiskey! Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall is a Tennessee Native’s dream venue. But if you are newer to the tri-star state, there’s nothing more unique than having your event at Chattanooga’s only distillery event hall.
Central Downtown Location
Located just a block from the Tennessee River, this venue is perfectly situated in downtown Chattanooga. A short walk from hotels, museums, and the aquarium, there is a lot to love about the location of the venue. There is definitely more than just the location to love though. Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall is just all-around a unique venue. The main venue room itself is round and resembles the shape of a whiskey barrel. The majority of the rotunda is also surrounded by windows. This lets in an abundance of natural light, which is perfect for the moody and industrial space.
Intimate & Charming Event Hall
The whiskey event hall can host up to 220 guests. The space can be seamlessly transformed from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception. You can also host your wedding with guests already seated at provided round tables. Your required day-of-planner and coordinator can help you with all of those details! I love how many set-ups are available, especially in a round venue! The whiskey charm extends to cocktail hour tables too which have been fashioned from old whiskey barrels. The hall also features a stunning bar that has old whiskey barrel touches too, continuing the true Tennessee Whiskey theme. Outdoor alcohol is permitted from licensed providers if you want variety, but you can also opt to supply Chattanooga Whiskey for your guests too! They offer two of their very own distilled varieties: Chattanooga Whiskey 91 and Cask 111.
Romantic Backdrop for Your Portraits
As I said, this is not just an event hall. It is a distillery too! While wedding guests can’t tour the distillery or have official tastings during your event; however, it is not totally off-limits to us for couples and wedding party photos (yay!). The floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall whiskey barrel room in the distillery is quite the photo op! Depending on posing, the photos can be edgy and cool. They also can be warm and romantic, playing on the tones of the vintage whiskey barrels. While many barn venues have barrels for photo backdrops, this is the absolute real deal!
The distillery room isn’t however the only gorgeous photo spot at this venue! The building itself is a sharp black painted brick that gives industrial vibes which are perfectly balanced by the softness of a bridal gown and flowers. The juxtaposition gets me and actually makes for unique and timeless wedding photographs. With Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall’s location being so close to the river, getting riverfront shots also brings an entirely new natural element to your wedding photos. I love playing up all that is within the venue and nearby to bring you a variety of portraits to choose from.
