“Goin’ to the chapel…And we’re gonna get married” has been playing in my head on repeat since falling head over heels for the Highlands Chapel at Howe Farms wedding venue. It is the quintessential white wedding chapel and it is ready for you and your wedding day!
PICTURE PERFECT
Picture perfect, this venue is almost too perfect! It doesn’t seem real. The steeple sits high above the beautiful wooden doors to enter the chapel and the entire chapel itself is set against the expansive sky and greenery. Most couples opt to be married inside the Highlands Chapel, but the front lawn is so pretty, those with smaller guest lists sometimes opt to be married in front of the chapel.
The windows on the chapel too are all too gorgeous. The lancet windows frame the church and the entryway to the wooden doors features the signature lancet shape and taking your bridal portraits here is one of my favorite spots across all the Howe Farms wedding sites.

SANCTUARY
If you’re opting for an indoor ceremony, which the chapel is often chosen for, you won’t be disappointed in the features that adorn the space. I’m a lover of shiplap so to see if brought into the chapel gives me so much joy! It’s timeless and is in keeping with my airy aesthetic! The crystal and iron chandeliers line the aisle, which you access by sliding white barn doors. As a bride, you make quite an entrance!
I love the pews too. A blend of wood and white, the Highlands Chapel really created a stunning sanctuary for guests to celebrate as you and our significant other exchange vows. And in case you thought the lancet windows only were on the front of the chapel, they’re not! They also frame the back of the chapel which means those natural light ceremony photos you’ve been dreaming of are totally possible! I’ve got you covered.
PARTY!
The chapel is more than well, a chapel. It is also the perfect reception site too. Situated on the lower level, the reception hall carries the white and natural light aesthetic through. Sliding glass doors also provide multiple options for guests to enjoy themselves as they can move between the inside to the outdoor patio. The outdoor patio provides gorgeous sunset views (and photos!) plus bistro lighting for dancing late into the night.
GETTING READY!
I love capturing detail shots of your gown and that beautiful steeple I mentioned earlier. And guess what?! It has a space for bridal and gown portraits! It is beautiful and gives you even more locations for photographs on your wedding day! Your hair and makeup artists will also love preparing you and your bridesmaids for the big day with the salon-style seating and vanity lights.
