I can’t get enough of the wedding venues in our area! Whenever a new couple chooses me as their wedding photographer, I’m itching to find out their venue! There are endless styles to choose from. For Tennessee brides or those looking to travel to a venue with history, the Old Woolen Mill in Cleveland, Tennessee might be the perfect match!
A red tin roof sits perched atop this venue located in the historic district of Cleveland, Tennessee. Once a Victorian-era clothing factory, the Old Woolen Mill is now a blend of vintage and industrial spaces suited for a variety of wedding styles.
Many of the decorative accents on the property feel rustic yet refined as many spaces include black iron accents. The exposed brick and beams throughout are also so warm and cozy. And nothing makes for more intimate ‘just married’ photos like cozy backdrops!
On-Site Features
The largest of the four rooms on site is the Weaver’s Room. It is the favorite choice for couples because of its ability to accommodate up to 250 guests! Weaver’s Room also features an attached caterer’s kitchen. The Old Woolen Mill staff is also happy to give recommendations for some of the best caterers in town! Along with the Weaver’s Room, come plenty of options to bring your day to life with decorative lighting and A/C capabilities. The team at Old Woolen Mill wants couples to have whatever day they envision – they’re around to help make it happen! And there’s nothing I love more than vendors who go above and beyond for couples!
The all-in-once getting ready, ceremony, and reception sites are some of my favorite places to photograph! Not only does it keep us on schedule, but venues actually do a great job of making each space unique so the photos look cohesive but still unique! That’s true at Old Woolen Mill too. The bridal suite is actually in the studio suite, an upstairs room that is intimate and has endless options for bridal portraits and fun getting-ready photos.
The guys aren’t too far off in another room, The Café. This area doubles as the groom’s suite. It connects to the main wedding ceremony and reception space, the Weaver’s Room. I really do love how versatile this entire space is! The Café even transforms at night to be an attached bar!
A Few Extras
At Old Woolen Mill, they really do give you full creative control over your day! Staff will open up for you, but how the day goes and looks is fully up to you. Including bringing your pet! Dog moms rejoice! You can have your pet be a part of your ceremony and I love a good dog ring-bearer, SO cute!
The team has already prepped up to 20 layouts for the ceremony and reception based on your wedding size. No other events can be scheduled at the time of your wedding. This gives you the private intimate ceremony you’re after!
All in all, I’m loving this option in the Chattanooga area. The Weaver’s Room at the Old Woolen Mill might be perfect for you! Victorian era and industrial, it’s gorgeous and a picturesque venue for your wedding day.
