Miami came to the South for Abi & Abner’s white-themed wedding at Blackberry Ridge! Every single guest came from out of town, which made the wedding the event of the season for their families. There were even GUESTS FROM SPAIN! Now that’s a committed friend!
The intimate setting of their wedding allowed so many extra sacred, meaningful moments to happen. We could capture the jokes and banter that it seemed every guest had. My personal favorite moment was when Abner’s mother ended her Mother & Son dance by calling Abi to the dance floor, giving her a kiss on the cheek, and handing her son’s hand over to his now wife to let them finish the dance. MY EYES WERE NOT DRY, ladies and gentlemen!!!
Also…THIS CROWD COULD DANCE! And DJ Mark made sure they had plenty of opportunity. I will never doubt his ability to get people grooving on the dance floor. They turned UP and then seemed very confused during the Cotton-Eyed Joe song haha! My guess was they weren’t prepared for that kind of Southern dance experience haha! It was so much fun watching them try to figure the moves out and it made for great captures!
