North Georgia Fall Photo Shoot with Buoy the Sheepadoodle | Chattanooga Wedding Photographer
Julia & Cullen’s North Georgia Fall photo shoot in Chickamauga, Georgia, was a family affair, truly! I wasn’t even photographing the majority of them! They were there to watch over the fluffiest dog alive, Buoy!
Julia & Cullen wanted to get their FIRST professional family photo with Buoy during Fall! I had been following Julia on Instagram, and I’ll shamelessly admit that I’ve been a total fan girl!!! I look forward to posts and stories with Buoy in them. They bring me joy! So, when she reached out and wondered if I’d be willing to include Buoy in their session, it wasn’t even a question for me! 🙂
I didn’t know that the joy of seeing Buoy pop up on my Instagram would be equally matched when I got to know Julia & Cullen! They’re both so kind and thoughtful with enormous talent! Julia’s a dentist, and Cullen’s in medical residency. The two have been such troopers through challenging schedules, moving across the country (a couple times), new jobs, and more during their first two years of marriage.
Our session time was wonderful! The rain stayed away and the leaves were at peak! Because Julia had brought some of her family to watch Buoy, we were able to take our time getting some great captures of just Julia & Cullen, then we incorporated Buoy. This also worked so well, because Buoy was able to get most of his wiggles out before his session time!
After looking at pictures of him, would you believe me that he’s only 7-months-old and 30 pounds?! He’s a ton of pillow-soft fluff! Given his age, he was so unbelievably easy to photograph. I suppose I owe a lot of credit to the family support who came with plenty of patience and treats! I was so thankful for them! Sooo much easier than wrangling a dog while trying to take in-focus images or having to listen to a dog bark in the background while trying to take romantic pictures, ha!
Julia & Cullen, I hope you love these previews of our time together. I truly had a great time and am so thankful to get the chance to meet you in person. Buoy, I’ll always be your fan girl!!!! 🙂
