We were thrilled to capture Kurtisha & Conner’s engagement season with a classy session at Ross’s Landing in Chattanooga, TN! Their love story is a super fun one, so be sure to read all about it below!
Three years ago Kurtisha spotted Conner at the gym one day. Her interest was piqued, but she had to come up with a way to start up conversation. Thanksgiving break was coming up soon, so when she found herself leaving the gym at the same time as Conner, she asked him what his plans were. The conversation and Conner’s personality was just what she thought it’d be…perfect!
Not knowing how to contact him, she got on Bumble and kept swiping until his face popped up! BOOM! The rest is really history.
In December 2021, Conner proposed while they were on a family ski trip in Washington state. The stage was set with quaint streets of the German-like town glowing with Christmas lights. After dinner, Conner got down amongst the snow on bended knee and proposed using his grandmother’s diamond! (His family had been helping him get it designed and fitted for six months prior!)
Is this not what romance novels are made of?! Gah! We so wish we could have been there to witness & photograph such a dreamy proposal!
During Kurtisha & Conner’s engagement session it was so easy to tell why they make a complementary couple. We think these previews perfectly showcase their individual personalities and love for each other…and for Mia, their sweet pup, who we can’t wait to see again because she’s a part of their wedding!
