The first time I photographed a wedding at The White Crow in Banner Elk, North Carolina, I thought my eyes deceived me! How could a wedding venue be this stunning?! Known for my light and airy style, arriving at a gorgeous 6,400 sq foot white building tucked into the peaceful mountains between Banner Elk and Boone North Carolina, it was a match made in mountain heaven.
Panoramic Views
As I said, what is better than stunning mountain views on a rolling 37-acre plot of land in North Carolina? Wedding ceremonies in front of a strong wooden cross are picturesque with the lush mountains behind. The wind that delicately blows through during ceremonies creates subtle movement in your dress and veil that take your ceremony photographs to a whole new level of amazing.
With the abundance of land, there is no shortage of backdrops with panoramic mountain views to capture individual portraits, a very special bride/groom or father/daughter first look, or the fun celebratory “just married” photos I love to capture of my couples after they say “I do!” The sunset views from The White Crow too are absolutely breathtaking. It truly feels like another world photographing in Banner Elk, North Carolina!
Choosing Your Wedding Package

The Owners
Blake and Kelli Crymes and their two boys welcome couples with open arms and big ideas. For over 24 years, the couple has worked in the hospitality industry. Their experience and talents are truly showcased with each wedding they produce and every couple they serve.
Proud of their family-run business, the Crymes take special care to be involved with each couple and believe people make the biggest difference in the hospitality and wedding industry. It is why they serve the way they do and it’s my favorite kind of vendor to work with too!
